Mission
CSH's mission is to help communities create permanent housing with services to prevent and end homelessness. CSH does its work in three core areas. Those are: 1) creating supportive housing through lending and grant making and project specific assistance as well as program design; building and strengthening the supportive housing industry and your language around working at the local, state and national levels to help shape and inform policies that assist in the development of supportive housing and its funding. CSH currently has 13 offices in ten states across the country and the District of Columbia. Since its inception in 1991, CSH nationally has committed nearly $125 million in loans and grants, ending homelessness for at least 24,000 adults and children.
