| Mission
Symphony of the Southwest performs for public, private, and educational audiences, presenting the highest quality live professional orchestral and chamber concerts that compete in impact and significance with commercial productions.
1. These live concert experiences are important not only to our audiences, but also to our musicians and supporters.
2. Creating new, live, concert experiences with other arts organizations will create synergistic relationships and new audiences.
3. All concerts are ticket-purchase or fee-based events with compensated (paid) musicians.
4. Live performances can also be recorded and can be played in various new formats.
5. We work with other non-profits, community-based organizations, and other groups and individuals to bring fine music to a variety of audiences, including disadvantaged populations.
