Description:

For 30 years, Community of Hope has provided hope and stability to low-income and homeless adults and children in DC. They have a holistic range of programs - from healthcare to housing with supportive services and programs promoting strong families - that help underserved residents create stable lives for themselves and promising futures for their children.

Although we are responsible for the design and implementation of the entire building and the targeted LEED Gold certification, we have set aside the first floor Community Outreach Center as our pro bono contribution to the project.

As part of the Community of Hope Health Center, the Outreach Center on the first floor has the potential to transform their neighborhood and provide the Community of Hope with a “place” to educate, inform and provide outreach for improving the health of their entire Community.

As a way to encourage involvement from a broad range of people in the office, we also held an office-wide charette to devise concepts for their donor recognition program.
