The 1% and the American Institute of Architects salute the Institute’s members on staff at architecture firms for their contribution of nearly $30M in services annually to the most vulnerable communities through The 1% program. A year after the partnership launch in 2012, the number of AIA members’ firms in the program have increased by 24%.

The 1% provides resources that support firms’ pro bono practice. Among the opportunities, registered participants can find nonprofit clients who require assistance, post projects to the Project Gallery, download helpful guides and publications, and connect with their peers through initiatives like Design Advocates.
In need of a pro bono contract? The AIA offers the B106–2010, Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Architect for Pro Bono Services that is free for download from AIA.org.
